Arrival — Dambulla — Anuradhapura
Ayubowan! Welcome to Sri Lanka. Meet your guide on arrival at the airport and proceed to Anuradhapura. En route, visit the ancient Dambulla Cave Temple — five chambers adorned with over 150 Buddha statues and two millennia of vibrant murals. Anuradhapura
A full morning immersed in one of civilisation's oldest continuously inhabited cities. Explore the towering Ruwanwelisaya and Jetavanaramaya dagobas, pay your respects at the sacred Bodhi Tree — the oldest documented tree in the world — and wander through ancient monastery ruins. In the afternoon, enjoy the Ulagalla curated scenic jeep drive with sundowner.
Anuradhapura — Sigiriya
Leave the ancient north behind and proceed to Sigiriya. Arrive at your boutique retreat in the shadow of the iconic rock fortress, where the rest of the day is yours to spend at leisure — lounging by the pool, exploring the landscaped grounds, or simply taking in the views of Lion Rock rising dramatically from the surrounding plains.
Sigiriya — Polonnaruwa — Sigiriya
Rise at dawn to scale the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress — a 5th-century sky palace perched atop a 200-metre granite monolith. Admire the famous cloud maiden frescoes, the mirror wall, and panoramic views that stretch to the horizon. Then enjoy an excursion to the medieval ruins of Polonnaruwa — stone Buddhas, royal palaces, and the magnificent Gal Vihara carvings.
Sigiriya — Kandy — Hatton
Proceed to Hatton via the royal hill capital of Kandy, where you'll visit the revered Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic — a sprawling religious complex enshrining Lord Buddha's holy left canine. Then climb higher into the cool, mist-wrapped highlands of Hatton, where emerald tea estates blanket every hillside.
